Mark is 25, heartbroken, and lost. He reluctantly adopts a dog at the insistence of his best friend, Jude, and loving grandmother, Nana, and immediately finds comfort in his new furry friend, Karma. In the years that follow, Mark and Karma travel from coast to coast searching for their place in the world. On their quest for somewhere to belong, they find their hearts always long for the ones they’ve left behind and decide that the best place to be is by their loved ones’ (and each other’s) sides. As they make their way back home, they learn that even the most familiar roads can become difficult to ride.
One part memoir. One part drama. Good Karma: A Dog’s Life is a story about life, loss, and unconditional love, inspired by the pawprints one puppy left on one family’s hearts.
